At the heart of this experience is the legendary Gulmarg Gondola — one of the highest cable cars in the world — which lifts riders to nearly 4,000 meters on Mt. Apharwat. From here, the Himalaya unfolds into an enormous playground of natural lines, powder bowls, tree runs, and technical descents.
Arrive at Srinagar airport the two hour transfer via private vehicle direct to the Gulmarg to your Hotel. Pre sitting down for a welcome banquet, and introduce you to Gulmarg with a resort familiarisation and trip overview presentation.
Unlimited access to 4000m mountain, Untracked, great snow is usually on offer somewhere nearby. You will be instructed in the use of backcountry equipment and safe travel practices while exploring the mountain each day. Further avalanche awareness and rescue training will be provided to groups and individuals who are keen to learn the finer of points of back-country safety.
When you have had enough riding for the day a vehicle will be waiting to transfer you to Airport for your return journey.
This package is built for intermediate to advanced skiers and snowboarders who want to ride deep powder and explore off-piste terrain. You should be confident on ungroomed slopes.
